Child Life Specialist - Per Diem SUMMARY: This position is accountable for the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of care plans to provide for the psychosocial, behavioral, recreational, and educational needs of hospitalized and/or outpatient children. The incumbent is accountable for a defined patient population based upon the child's age and developmental needs for a designated period of time.
REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a College Degree - 4 year in Child Life or related field of study. Masters Degree preferred. CCLS - Certified Child Life Specialist or CTRS - Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist - certification in an adjunct therapy (i.e, Recreation, Art, Music) required and completion of 600 hour internship prior to start. Bilingual skills preferred.
POSITION DETAILS: Per Diem. Schedule varies based on department needs.
PAY RANGE: $24.90-$38.00
