RN Per Diem - NICU Merced
SUMMARY: This position is accountable for providing competent nursing care for patients with common health problems, and is expected to deliver competent patient care to a full patient assignment. This position practices under the direction of the designated nurse executive, within the scope of the Nursing Practice Act, and in accordance with Children's polices.
Valley Children’s Merced NICU is an 8-bed, Level II NICU located at Mercy Medical Center.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: A) a graduate from an accredited nursing program. BSN strongly preferred; B) an active California Registered Nurse licensure (RN); C) Life Support Certifications (see specifics below); and D) Minimum of 1 year experience working as an RN, pediatrics and/or NICU experience preferred. Bilingual skills desirable. Life Support Certifications required: 1) Heart Code Basic Life Support (BLS) within 30 days and 2) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) within six month of hire or transfer into the position.POSITION DETAILS: Per Diem, must be available to work a minimum of 2 x 11.5-hour shifts per 2-week pay period, shifts vary
PAY RANGE: $4390 - $70.38LOCATION: Merced, CA
