The Epilepsy Program Coordinator collaborates regularly with the Medical Director of Neurosciences to plan and implement programs with both internal and external stakeholders. This role provides leadership in fostering long-lasting relationships with individuals, families, medical professionals, school districts, and community organizations throughout the Central Valley. The Coordinator ensures the community receives the most current educational information on epilepsy treatment and advocacy with trust and compassion. This position helps individuals and families achieve the highest quality of life by optimizing support services for the entire family.Key responsibilities include coordinating with healthcare providers, community partners, patients, and caregivers to improve epilepsy awareness, access to care, and patient outcomes. The Coordinator collaborates with appropriate clinical subject matter experts to design, implement, and evaluate patient-centered programs addressing the medical, psychological, and social needs of people with epilepsy and their families. These activities may include support groups, educational workshops, self-management training, wellness programs, and outreach initiatives that promote health literacy, treatment adherence, and improved quality of life
