SUMMARY: This position is accountable to respond to all calls from Valley Children's Healthcare including emergencies, sacramental ministry, and requests for pastoral visits and support. The incumbent will be accountable to contact the Roman Catholic priest on call or other faith based resources for persons requesting this service. The incumbent will respond to requests from Valley Children's Healthcare staff, physicians, other clergy, and other requests that happen on his/her shift of duty.

Our family-centered, pediatric services extend from a leading pediatric cancer and blood disorders center home on the West Coast, and a pediatric heart center known for its expertise and pioneering treatments, to a Regional Level IV neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), the highest level referral center between Los Angeles and the Bay Area. REQUIREMENTS: This position requires a Master's Degree in Theological Studies with a minimum three (3) years pastoral ministry experience. Ordination in their particular faith as well as bilingual skills are preferred.
POSITION DETAILS: Per diem position, varies depending on needs - after hours and weekends. Expected call-back response time is 30 minutes.
