Performs a variety of standard and specialty diagnostic radiographic procedures with accuracy; responsibly administering ionizing radiation using fluoroscopy, computed and direct radiography (including the use of mobile c-arm and x-ray equipment) to achieve good quality studies under a variety of conditions with little supervision. Basic knowledge of anatomy, physiology and radiation physics and image production. Demonstrates appropriate use of ALARA - minimal technique parameters, collimation and correctly positions patients. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.
