Job Title: MRI Technologist I - MRI - Part-time/Varied shifts
Job Description: Performs a variety of standard and specialty Magnetic Resonance (MR) procedures with accuracy, utilizing radiofrequencies, time varying gradients and a high magnetic field, producing quality studies under a variety of conditions with little supervision. Applies the profession's code of ethics in all aspects of practice. Maintains knowledge of, observes, and enforces the safety measures in Environment of Care.

The MRI department at Valley Children’s Healthcare provides superior pediatric care, including Elastography and the use of Monteris equipment to aid in neuro-ablation cases, in a setting that offers some of the latest benefits and innovations in medical technology and family centric care. As a facility with three MRI magnets, we stand upon a 70-year legacy of hospital excellence placing kids and families at the center of all we do. Performing MRI exams and procedures on outpatients, inpatients, and children coming from the emergency department with a focus on patient safety. A key focus for our technologists is to perform job functions as an MRI technologist while modeling our core values within a dynamic and dedicated team who has proven successes in making a difference in children lives in an environment of students, technologists, and others.
